Project manager and lead architect for the Dataviser project involving a team of web developers and data engineers as well as matrixed support from QA and requirements. Dataviser processed Big Data using Hadoop and NoSQL from a variety of data sources to establish links and relationships between data elements for data analytics. The data engineering team focused on the data pipeline which was responsible for parsing through these millions of records in a few seconds and establishing these links using Python scripts. The web development team focused on the presentation of these results in a custom web application utilizing AJAX. Served as Scrum Master as part of Agile development process for Dataviser, OAG, and ITIMC projects. Ran daily meetings and biweekly reviews of project backlog and current Sprint. Modeling and simulation architect of a nationwide team of contractors and government agencies that created and maintained simulations of complex weapon and sensor systems. Defined requirements and standards in order to ensure interoperability, ease of use, ease of maintainability, and appropriateness of the simulations to meet research analysis objectives. Led integration meetings between prime contractors and briefed results to governmental oversight.Lead developer for the Data Analysis Visualization Environment (DaVE), a Java based data analysis and visualization tool that models kinematically accurate platform motion, sensor detections, target tracking, and other environmental phenomena.
