• Developed an online capacity building training for the team to acquire required knowledge on REDD+ programmes, including an online repository of literature, and development of a REDD+ manual for the team to utilise on.
• Analysed progress of REDD+ readiness and/or implementation in each of the ten countries.
• Developed an executive summary, including highlights, factsheet and lessons learned in selectedcountries, to contribute to the content of documentary story boards.
• Evaluated final story boards and reviewed content of interviews and data collection process to ensure the inclusion of all relevant technical aspects.

• Coordinated activities and involvement between the UN-REDD team and the Safeguards Taskforce, composed of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation International and the UN-REDD National Programme.

• Advised Ecuador’s Ministry of Environment in the finalisation of the design of the country’s Safeguard Information System (SIS) for REDD+.

Project “Sustainable Forest Management For Climate Change”. Quito, Ecuador.

• Analysed and developed socioeconomic methodological aspects to determine the relation people and forests, deforestation drivers, opportunity costs and multiple benefits.
• Developed a road map for national implementation of the socioeconomic component of the National Forest Evaluation.
• Coordinated and facilitated an expert workshop on deforestation drivers, opportunity costs and multiple benefits, where the proposed methodology and road map were shared and expert feedback provided and thereafter.
