Sitting within a team of 6, the role entails daily upkeep of our in-house system Hiport to ensure all mandatory corporate actions are recorded accurately. My main responsibilities are:Ensure all corporate action notifications received from custody are recorded.Investigate corporate action to ensure I have adequate information showing the event is going ahead.Update our internal hiport system reflecting the corporate action event.Ensure all corporate action events are managed in a timely manner to reflect the market.Managing any cash and stock breaks that may arise from the corporate event.Manage any placing or underwriting events the clients choose to take part in.Ensure all transaction updates meet client pricing points.Maintain good relationships with Clients, Custodians and Brokers.Ensure all errors are documented as per BNP procedures.

My main responsibilities were:Ensure all client instructions have been actioned and verified.Instruct Manual settlement transactions within cut-off times.Update the BNP auto posting tool to ensure all transactions are recorded same day.Prepare manual swift instructions using manual cash request templates.Ensure instructions to external counterparties are processed accurately and timely.Investigate and resolve any reconciliation break items assigned to the team.Ensure all transaction updates meet client pricing points.Maintain good relationships with Clients, Custodians and Brokers.Ensure all errors are documented as per BNP procedures.Support internal ACE initiatives to record and improve manual processes.
