Store Innovations / Store of the FutureEvaluated, tested, and piloted innovative solutions. Successfully migrated the following projects to the production environment: Guided Selling, Digital Messaging, various Mobile Device functions. Sourced new functionality and technical design for both existing big box environment and The Store of the Future. Connected with various potential vendors for big picture approach.Collaborated with the Store Solutions department by recommending innovative designs for the total store experience. Was responsible for 2nd Level support to create support documents of all projects and proof of concepts.Subject Matter Expert for Apple products. Broad range projects include but are not limited to Wireless Devices, Apple iOS/Mac, Citrix, Printers, Cashing appliances, Touch Monitors, Wireless, and Thin Client platforms.

As part of the ITOC, a high-level response group, my focus is on monitoring and supporting all business systems. In my role, I act as a liaison to managers and directors in all IT departments.Major responsibilities include reacting to company-wide alerts and crisis management. Issues range from global data center power outage to network failures to emergencies related to environmental crises. Locations include numerous offices (domestic and international), manufacturing and distribution facilities and diamond mines.Troubleshoot approximately 200 world-wide retail locations and react to problems ranging from power outages to network connectivity to telecom issues. As part of 24-hour support, I developed strong contacts with colleagues in the UK, Asia, Australia, and Europe despite language barriers and time zones.Coordinate e-commerce code deployments, monitoring updates and troubleshoot problems on domestic and international portals of Tiffany.com. Maintain working relationships with outside service providers such as Cisco, Verizon, AT&T and hardware providers. I routinely follow up with vendors to ensure issues are expedited and resolved to meet the Tiffany standard.

Was responsible for daily operations of 70+ servers. Managed all aspects of server functions.Researched, recommended, and ordered new/additional equipment as needed. Established business relationships with Compaq/HP to maintain premium client pricing of hardware.Acted as the technical liaison between LAN Support and nationwide management for purpose of headquarters relocation from temporary office site. Met regularly with Building Management, Telecom, and Datacenter Operations to plan rack configuration and layout, power usage, and telecom port availability.Reconfigured hardware in remote locations for Disaster Recovery site for seamless network integration.Instrumental in 9/11 Disaster Recovery. Trading functions restored within 8 hours. Achieved total business re-establishment from multiple sites in less than 14 days. LAN Support team rebuilt network, including 40 + servers in 2 days.Relocated users to multiple disaster recovery sites without effecting business performance or stock trading.Recreated daily back-up procedures.Built multiple temporary networks to support Help Desk operations. Constructed 2 networks in one day in order to build 600+ machines.Restored lost data via tape back-up and copied data from WAN via remote office.Researched and recommended equipment purchases including servers, racks, drivers and hardware expansion upgrades.

Daily tasks included the resolution of mail/application issues on the Notes servers.Experienced in server repairs and upgrades including the installation and replacement of memory, processor boards, system boards, hard disks, array controllers, and NICs.Implemented and monitored Disaster Recovery systems in remote sites. Collaborated with Audit group to ensure all datacenter servers were compliant to bank standards (proper levels of security, fault tolerance, virus protection, monitoring, backup, etc.).Upgraded software and all legacy equipment in the LAN environment to Y2K compliance for 180+ servers. Supervised consultants including technical training, job assignment, and evaluation.
