Specifically:• I directed the acquisition process for an on-time and protest free award of a $255M support contract for the JDISS Program• The services and software and equipment procured sustained and improved on software applications supporting a user community in excess of 8000 military intelligence analysts and collection managers. • As the JDISS Program Manager, I was responsible to the Department of the Navy for the fiscal execution of $50M annually. As such, I was required to provide written and verbal Program updates for Congressional Staffers’ oversight on an annual basis.• I led and supervised the daily activities of military, civilian and contract employees in the systems development life cycle for application delivery of solutions and services including eliciting and documenting detailed user requirements. • Our semi-annual user group meetings were attended by dozens of system integrators and implementers from government, industry and military organizations.• I made certain my Program teamed with other Defense Program Managers and their Programs on software development and maintenance of intelligence database applications to avoid unnecessary development costs and ensure the best product for our customers.• I worked with a subject matter experts and implemented ISO 9001 standards for program management, creating standardized business processes to facilitate improved financial tracking and reporting, project scheduling and metrics development for the JDISS Program.
