Starting with wagons, the company then moved into cabs and bodies for the Ford Model-T, and then evolved into bodies as tools for a multitude of trades.• Responsible for multiple locations ensuring all meet profitability, sales, productivity, and inventory targets.• P&L ownership & Budgeting• Sales management, sales and pricing strategy, competitor analysis, and sales team training.• Other responsibilities include process standardization.• Conducts sales analysis to identify underperforming sales territories or business segments and then works with local Sales Manager to address root causes of the underperformance• Works with KTEC General Managers to achieve standardization of processes throughout the locations – both operational and sales processes• Developed and promote sharing of best practices across plants• Implementation of lean in multiple plants: o Proven track record implementing best practices including leading edge management applications, innovative use of technology, cost reduction tactics and investment decisions. o Developed new tool management system just for this company that has helped reduce overall labor content in all manufacturing locations. o Created a nationwide lean competition to capture and share best practices. o Created training program for new GMs, and production managers• Purchasing management: ownership Involved in purchasing, including sourcing and supplier selection, negotiations, inventory management and oversight of buying.
