Expanding an established UK based company within the Play and sports industry, across the east and west midlands. Primarily dealing with local authorities to build relationships and generate new business. Duties include providing a complete solution for the client, overseeing the sales process from initial enquiry, through to design and installation. Developing opportunities with schools, house builders and Landscape architects. Other duties include liaising with the marketing department on nationwide campaigns in order to maximize sales.In May 2009 relocated to South Wales to set up Park Leisure Cymru as Area Sales Manager. A new territory that needed building from scratch is now the leading sales area for the company turning over £1 million per annum on average. As part of this role I Managed an external field sales team in the Midlands and South West in order to maximize company revenue. This role involved running sales meetings, setting targets and monitoring performance of external sales people.

As part of a nationwide sales team within a new UK subsidiary, distributed sport and playground equipment to local authorities, schools and landscape architects across the north of England. A 100% new business role, responsibilities included developing new contacts, building relationships and negotiating contracts. Other duties involved writing and delivering presentations and running sales meetings.

Fielding both inbound and outbound calls relating to the company’s products and services. Responsibilities involved delivering target based sales figures, running team briefings and coaching sales advisors to improve performance.
