I have been, most recently, the President of Gigante Vaz Partners, an integrated advertising agency. At GVP I was responsible for all the strategic development behind our work as well as our full-service media department including media planning, buying and research. My broad range of skills combine classic strategic planning discipline with overall agency management experience, an in-depth knowledge of all types of media and the toughest negotiating instincts our clients had ever seen. I was also the point person for all of the agency's business development and its new business activity. I managed GVP's shift from primarily traditional advertising to primarily digital communications, social media marketing and branding.In 1990, I became the Media Director of Ketchum Advertising with the responsibility for all the media activity in the New York office of Ketchum. In 1992, I was promoted to General Manager of Ketchum Advertising/N.Y. managing the overall operation of the New York office.
