I manage two Engineering & Physical Science Research Council Centres for Doctoral Training at the University of Leeds: Bioenergy and Water-WISER - this involves the long-term (10 year) project management of large research centres (100 postgraduate research students) Interests in science communication, especially subjects relating to climate change, sustainability, renewable technologies, earth history and visualising a zero carbon future.I am a graphic novel artist and illustrator and am most interested in using visual art to engage the public about scientific subjects.
