Lead and provided program management for 5 contracts, $83M, leading a team of 52 in support of Information Assurance (IA), Planning, Strategy, Operations and requirements: - Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Global Information Grid (GIG) Operations Directorate: Provided GIG IA/NetOps/Cyber security research & development analysis and provided recommendations for unique IA/cyber security solution to the DISA GIG Operations (GO) Directorate in their new role with USCYBERCOM. - DISA Program Executive Office (PEO) Mission Assurance and NetOps: Provided IA/NetOps Research & Development (R&D)/Scientific & Technical (S&T) analysis and will integrate IA/NetOps into existing networks and capabilities. - DISA GIG Operations Technical Director: Provided operational assessment template designed specifically to present succinctly the NetOps posture of a capability to the Principal Director GIG Operations. It is used when conducting NetOps Readiness assessments and is tailored to the unique acquisition characteristics of programs, projects, initiatives, pilots, Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs), Advanced Capability Technology Demonstrations (ACTDs), acquisition of services and other information technology undertakings. - USSTRATCOM J6: Provided IA and Cyberspace technical research, analysis, and assessment for the IA components of USSTRATCOM’s Cyberspace Operations mission areas, specifically the cyber security component across the GIG, to include Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense and Cybersecurity.. - United States Cyber Command: Provide USCYBERCOM with IA technical research and analysis of state-of-the-art IA technologies and provide innovative recommendations on IA disciplines for USCYBERCOM.

Mr. McKenzie served as the Current Operations Officer J6, U.S. Central Command (1999-2002): Mr. McKenzie led U.S. Central Command, Theater Command and Control Center (TCCC) in Bahrain for the initial lay down of communications in support of America’s War on Terrorism. In this position, Mr. McKenzie managed and orchestrated the integration of the strategic, operational and tactical communications planning for Southwest Asia. Mr. McKenzie also served as the Chief of Information Assurance, U.S. Central Command. He designed and implemented the data network protection, a defense-in-depth strategy for U.S. Central Command headquarters at MacDill AFB and for all the military sites in Southwest Asia. Chief of Exercises for Southern European Task Force, Vicenza, Italy, S3 and Liaison to U.S. European Command. In this position he planned, coordinated, and synchronized all support, to include computer simulation for three NATO Partnership for Peace exercises, seven Bilateral exercises, and ten Joint Task Force exercises. Additionally, he acted as the liaison to U.S. European Command (EUCOM) during Operation GUARDIAN ASSISTANCE, and Operation GUARDIAN RETRIEVAL Executive Officer (1995 - 1996) and Operations Officer (1994 - 1995) for 16th Signal Battalion, Ft. Hood. He planned and executed voice, data, and video teleconferencing communications in support of U.S. Army III Corps with over 15,000 users. The scope of his management responsibilities included RF spectrum allocation, satellites, microwave, copper wire and fiber, telephone and Internet Protocol (IP) switches, routers and hubs, servers, multiplexers and video teleconferencing capabilities. He also was responsible for all training and deployments for the 827-soldier battalion. Leadership (1981 – 1995) Mr. McKenzie severed in multiple leadership positions within the United States Army, including: Platoon Leader, Company Commander and various staff level assignments.
