I began studying Building Design in 1998 and, after taking time away to travel and work on the tools, finalised my qualifications and became a registered Building Designer with QBCC. Prior to opening McKnight Building Design, I spent five years working as a Designer and Engineer's Assistant for a local firm specialising in renovations and raise/build-in designs. I began my own business, McKnight Building Design, in September 2015, offering my clients affordable, high quality designs and plans for residential and some commercial building projects. I have a particular focus on new homes and raise/build-in designs.I am also currently a licensee Senior Building Designer with SuperDraft.
