However, I am currently (Mar to Jun 17) implementing an O365 solution, migrating existing content from a range of technologies, and introducing a number of integrated process automations. Led the technology transiton of St Geroge staff from multiple existing locations to the activity based working environment at Barrangaroo.

Following the recent merger between Izilla and Enigma Digital to form XO Digital, I undertook a review to align and improve solution delivery by creating a repeatable and scalable process that set and met client expectations for a high quality outcome. Central to this was ensuring full utilisation of resources whilst balancing the requirements of delivering concurrent projects to multiple clients with competing priorities.My role extended to improve a number of operational processes and I introduced a number of efficiency measures to the invoicing process resulting in improved cashflow.By necessity I also become involved in the delivery of several in-flight projects, resolving clients concerns and developing realistic delivery plans to achieve key milestones.

Supanova is an online platform for artists to present creative work supported by annotated rich media evidence to demonstrate claims particularly in relation to research. It provides a single view comparative assessment across multiple evidence items, to enhance the peer review process by ensuring a better experience of the content. Used initially by UoN for its 2012 submission to the Australian Research Council’s program, Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA), UoN had plans to generate income through extend its use to other universities and further developing it for several related but unique business opportunities. This had a led to a list of features that were difficult to prioritise, with a range of related issues including choice of platform, resourcing, licencing and support.Developed a product roadmap of modules, or products, that build on each other. Based on logical groups of functionality, each module includes a major core enhancement that also supports a functional extension to meet specific market opportunities. The roadmap provides a financially viable approach with development costs aligned to customer demand, with a sustainable model for ongoing development and support.Following an assessment of the Supanova user interface, I produced a new intuitive design for screen layout, on-screen guidance with on-line support, and branding. The result has saved the cost and effort of face-to-face training with major ongoing cost-reduction for support.Note - the ARC is now endorsing the product for ERA15 submissions and is encouraging institutions to submit all research activities that involve rich media evidence.

Senior manager for a $3.6M program to establish a group-wide intranet based on knowledge management principles to simplify the way operational information and reference material is created, published and maintained. My achievements in this role are described below.Designed to promote quick sharing of insights and increase employee engagement, the solution featured cross functional and process focused team collaboration sites, as well as document (and records) management, Architected a solution that translated the knowledge management vision into a strategy of key deliverables in five project streams.Replaced the corporate phone directory with the enhanced colleague information provided by MySites which was significantly extended by the Newsgator enterprise social networking tool Launched the Product Catalogue that consolidated the rich and complex product information from multiple sources to create a ‘Single Source of Truth’ to sell products, service customers, and adjudicate claims payments.Developed a process to ensure the contents of the Product Catalogue remained current. This flowed overseeing the major exercise to cleanse the content which had been used and published in various locations and formats by systems teh Product Catalogue replaced.Each deliverable was supported by a change management strategy developed by a dedicated change manager that ensured user adoption Established a design principle of intuitive interfaces to eliminate classroom delivered training which was enabled through end user testing in nib’s User Experience (UX) Lab.

Established a Program Office to oversee the governance and delivery of the all ICT projects. • Established a project methodology • Established and led a major program of 30 work-streams to deliver new core infrastructure including new Windows & AIX platforms, SAN, NAS, backup, AD migration. Head of Project Office responsible for delivering major projects, conducting Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and performing User Acceptance Testing.• Implemented an internet banking two-factor authentication service (shortlisted for the 2007 IFS Banking Innovation Awards)• Implementation of MyDesign, a solution for customers to choose their own photo or picture for their card (ie. savings, credit or debit) as well as an ‘online’ credit card application process.• Led a program to establish an online banking solution to select, open and manage transactional and investment banking products (due to the Global Financial Crisis this program was placed on hold)• Developed a project management framework • Developed a program dashboard in SharePoint with very effective project portals • Developed a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process• Implemented a Treasury Risk System using SunGard BancWare Asset and Liability Management (ALM) to manage the Society’s investment portfolio.

Managed the delivery of all IT projects including: • An imaging and workflow solution to scan and deliver over 1,000 daily work items • A major upgrade to a web interface to the transactional health insurance system; • Roll-out of 400 new PC’s with a new Standard Operating Environment • Program managed several eBusiness projects including a payment gateway and Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) solutions • Introduced the principles of ITIL and arranged tailored training for key IT staff to attain Foundation Certification; • Initiated a program for TAFE IT students to gain insights to IT operations and workplace innovation• Implemented Enterprise Project Management Suite (ie Exchange, SharePoint and Project Server) for all corporate projects

Technology fit-outs of new and refurbished premises including data centres, and technology locations, including:George Patterson Bates - Managed the technology fitout of new premises and the relocation for a group of 400. Citigroup - Managed the relocation of 2,500 staff (Citibank & Salomon Smith Barney) to new purpose built premises; managed the Project Office for 75 staff delivering the $42M technology fit-out of Citigroup’s new premises in Park St, Sydney.Securities Industry Research Centre of Asia Pacific (SIRCA) - Managed the design and construction for the office fit-out of new premises including a data centre.

Lead the design and implementation of technology requirements for the largest regional hospital in Australia.Selection and implementation of operational systems - patient admin, pathology, rehab, sterilisation and food delivery. Implemented a converged network featuring a Cisco IP Telephony solution including integration of nurse-call, fire, paging and security systems.

Led the Technology Program for the migration of NatWest Lending Operations to RBS systems and infrastructure

Managed all IT infrastructure projects and the technology aspects of business changes within Head Office

Managed a team of 12 providing the finance, procurement and HR functions for the AUS$110M Supply Systems Redevelopment Project delivering the Standard Defence Supply System (SDSS) Lead several large recruitment campaigns for IT graduates and managed the engagement of IT contractors (over 100 on-site at any one time). Produced funding and project approval submissions as well as project reporting to steering groups, senior departmental and Parliamentary Committees.

Managed the Department’s (5 year) contract with IBM for the supply of all IT equipment. Managed contracts for Australia-wide IT support arrangements.
