As a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) coach for eight years, I designed engaging training programs tailored to their age and skill level. These programs weren't just about technical prowess - they incorporated fun activities that instilled a sense of adventure on the water. Witnessing their excitement as they mastered new skills was incredibly rewarding.Sailing demands teamwork. I fostered this through on-water exercises that honed sailing skills while teaching communication, cooperation, and problem-solving. Witnessing them overcome challenges as a team was truly inspiring.Nurturing individual potential was key. Through personalized coaching and feedback, I encouraged them to embrace challenges. Celebrating their achievements, no matter how small, fostered confidence and motivation.My own learning journey never stopped.
