Making critical decisions on engines and there components.conversing with customers in relation to the engines/packages and any problems or issues they may have.Travelling to customers bases or overhaul bases to view engines.Design and modification of installation and overhaul tooling.Dealing with external companies for tools and tooling designs.Identifying and modifying engine and component drawings.Setting up and helping overhaul bases to get unto a OEM standard with tooling and documentation.Making decisions on accepting engines/components outside of limits using all information available.

Strip and Build Inspection of Rolls Royce Gas Turbines.Including detailed component inspection using the relevent documentation, measurement equipment and boroscopes.Gas Turbine electrical inspection using processes and equipment to determine servicability of Gas Turbine Engines Pre and Post engine TestMaking Key decisions on components to there serviceability.Deciding on the overhaul of components/engines to best suit what is needed.Doing induction inspections in front of various customers including naval commanders.

3 year Practical Apprenticeship.Practical apprenticeship with experience in stripping, fitting and building a variety of engines including Olympus, Viper, Tyne, Spey, Gnome, RTM322, RB211/DLE. Also placements on Management Assistance, Engineering, Maintenance, NDT and Inspection.
