In this role I managed both consultants & senior consultants. I engaged my team and other Retail team members in daily scrums, business updates, team meetings and training. I worked closely with the team to achieve SLA’s and Reserve closure targets ($9 million per month). I was the point of contact for our Business Relations and BDM’s. Through monthly one-on-one conversations I helped to guide and support my team members to achieve their work and personal goals.

Responsible for managing a portfolio of Income Protection, Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD) and Death claims within Wholesale Life Claims Department. Main duties included assessing liability, ongoing claims management and facilitating return to work outcomes. This was competently achieved through accurately reviewing all relevant information, being proactive and making soundly based decisions. My portfolio size was approximately 80 claims.

Managing and Assessing Workers Compensation claims. This position included assessing claim liability, conducting ongoing case management, regularly communicating with all relevant Stakeholders, working towards the return to work goal. Attending case conferences and client reviews as required.
