Accounting – responsibility for the financial andmanagement accounting of both entities, with acombined turnover of £1.5m. Working within a smallorganisation, my experience is very varied, including forexample preparing partial exemption VAT calculations,preparing budgets & management accounts, liaising withexternal auditors, leading an audit tender process andcontributing to the preparation of the financialstatements.Leadership & Management – I have directly managed anaccounts assistant since 2011 and was a companydirector from 2014. As one of two executive directors, Ihave co-responsibility for the day-to-day management ofthe company. I have dealt with customer complaints andan HR appeal.Governance – as a company director I contributed todecisions on strategy, and have represented the board tomeetings of both the shareholders (holding trustees) andmanaging trustees of the parent organisation.IT & project management – I took a lead role in ITdevelopment, project managing the creation a newdatabase with customer-facing & staff-facing web frontends.
