James is a Machine Learning Engineer at Capital One’s Center for Machine Learning (C4ML). As part of C4ML, He is responsible for designing state of the art systems/models and deploying them on the cloud to create efficient and resilient production systems. Capital One Tech maintains a full stack of technology solutions including streaming big data, state of the art machine learning, micro-service architecture, distributed computation engines, and intuitive visualizations in the cloud. James works with a variety of business teams, database specialists, and data scientists to tackle the highest priority and most difficult machine learning problems at Capital One including NLP, OCR, Risk Modeling, and Fraud detection problems.

James began his experience at Capital One working in the Upmarket Acquisitions and Analytics team managing the Venture credit product. James has since worked in the Upmarket Customer Management team and Small Business (Spark Card) Super Spender Customer Management teams. James is responsible for creating the Tech Tools for Analysts learning curriculum for Business Analysts and assisting educational programs like the Big Data Academy. James' expertise is combining the latest in computational and analytic techniques with real world credit and business problems.

James worked for Capital One on the Upmarket Spenders team managing the Venture and VentureOne cards. He specifically devoted his time to projects to increase customer engagement and develop new acquisition channels.

James worked in creating a marketing strategy to reach new clients.

James tested the shield and scintillator apparatus for the X-calibur project under the direction of Professor Krawczynski.

James interned at DC Linktank gaining experience in start up company operations.

James has assisted in research at temple since 2005. James started and completed his first individual project in 2010.

James worked as a high school intern in the lab of Professor Klein focusing on testing of materials used in neutrino detection experiments.

James taught a 5th Grade class focusing on Jewish History and Hebrew language instruction. James had acted as a teachers assistant preceding his appointment to teacher.
