Manage and support 8 volunteer Chaplains to meet departmental goals.Provide service recovery and manage 7 Patient Advocate volunteers seeking to hear the experience of patients from admission to discharge.Liason for hospital medical ethics committee.In 2012, my new assignment was to develop a Patient Advocate program for United Hospital Center. Advocating for our patients and the compassion with courage to make a difference in their perception of care is fulfilling.Provide monthly seminars on topics of spiritual care for volunteer Chaplains and Advocates.

Provided pastoral care to Chestnut Ridge Center (behavioral health) and to the WVU Children's Hospital.

Participated in a two year residency of Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Rotating through each medical service/department. Developed spiritual care service to out patient infectious diseases clinic in second year. Specializing in spiritual care at the zenith of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
