With over a year now with GBE Fire & Security and working as a contracts manager across the UK based in the Dronfield office near Sheffield and responsible for my project managers and now project engineers out in the field. Giving support to my team on all contractual and financial elements of our projects, working mainly with main contractors and some M&E companies, carrying out installations of life safety systems, security, CCTV and Data installations including the creation of data centres with chillers and Generator installations, as well as smoke extract systems. Now working with a new BDM and jointly responsible for the future development and expansion of our Northern Region office and working very closely with the Gloucester head office team and the Contracts Director with monthly meetings.At Dronfield there is a full sales, design & estimating team in place working alongside the projects team.

Obtained the BAFE and NACOSS Gold ISO 9001 accreditation and also have now held this over the last 18months including site inspections and office visits by the NSI inspector. Monitoring P&L across the business as well as project management across multiple sites. Contract reviews Precontract WIP and Post contract. Monitor margin enhancements. Overview on service dept as well as new installations. Run the operational side of the business. Working on large projects such as Leeds Arena CCTV and access systems integrated into a front end Avigilon software system. Also project managed Baker street (10 Portman square) New build with Gent fire system and Gent PA/VA DACS system throughout the building with a complicated Cause and Effects as per building control This was for Land Securities. We also installed integrated Kantech access control and CCTV through a Tyco Intevo unit as well as intercom and Speed gates and intruder alarm system with monitoring through Emizon broadband and GSM. Also project managed Wexham park Hospital with integrated CCTV and Access along with a baby tagging system. Also looked after installation works as well as maintenance on CCTV and Access (Casi Rusco) at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Burton Upon Trent

Fire and Security operations obtaining BAFE and NACOSS certification. Looking after major clients. Monitoring engineering team and projet management. Working closely with Coca Cola on Fire systems as well as liaising with Eurotunnel and our french counterpart to try and obtain the maintenance of the Gent fire systems both sides of the channel. Working also on large hospital projects such as Burton Hospital. responsible for the company P&L and developing business from a £350k to £2 million pound turnover with limited resources working closely with qualified sub contractors again this was a Gent elite fire company. general GP ran at 33%.

Project managed multiple sites including Derby hospital £4million with enhanced margin over 2 years. Boots head office fire installations. Nottingham Jubilee Campus £0.5miilion Fire and disabled refuge install. Corby swimming pool, Fire,PA/VA intruder and access systems
