Completed the post-acquisition transition assignment as HV GM to outline and integrate into Advanced Energy the acquired companies UltraVolt, Inc. and High Tek Power, Ltd. Accepted Transition assignment as Director of HV product marketing & business development to strategically align & educate the organization in this unique field, something as subject matter expert James effectively leveraged his 30+ years of knowledge and experience in high voltage markets, applications, technology, and suppliers.

In 2014Q3 Advanced Energy acquired UltraVolt, Inc., after the 100 day business continuity plan James took on the role to outline and drive the initial integration of High Tek Power, LTD and UltraVolt, Inc. within Advanced Energy Industries.

In 2007, James worked with The Riverside Company to form as CEO the UltraVolt Group, which acquired UltraVolt, Inc.; Galluppi Associates, Inc.; and 50% of High Voltage Products Global, LLC.HVP Global's strategic expansion includes technical sales offices in Germany, Japan, and Korea covering 14 of the 52 countries where UV delivers high voltage solutions & support along with as many as 15 other HV manufacturing companies. UltraVolt's strategic expansion of its IP & product base is driven both organically with top talent as well as in-organically through technology partnerships with 4 other high voltage companies and product line agreements with 2 other high voltage companies.

In 1990, James co-founded as EVP UltraVolt, Inc. - a company focused on the design, manufacture, and marketing of standard-product high-voltage power supplies (HVPS). In 2006, James also co-founded as co-manager High Voltage Products Global, LLC, as a global High Voltage Products distribution company.

In 2000, James worked with Craig Dean of Dean Technologies to form High Voltage Products Global, a sales, support, distribution company for high voltage products. HVP Global's strategic expansion includes forming companies in Germany, Japan, and Korea to operate as technical sales offices covering 14 of the 20 strongest markets for high voltage products. More than 16 manufacturers selected HVP Global to deliver high voltage solutions & support. James sold his ownership interest in HVP Global to UltraVolt in 2007 and remained as CO Manager & CO founder until December 2014.

In 1987, James co-founded Galluppi Associates, Inc. - A Management consulting firm specializing in high technology business reviews, turnarounds, restarts, and re-engineering. After the formation of UltraVolt, Inc. the GAI organization focused on custom High Voltage system integration products using UltraVolt components.

In 1984, James joined Venus Scientific, Ferranti Venus, the world's leading miniature military HVPS company. He worked from production test up the ranks to division manager for standard products, raising revenue from $900,000 to $3.4 million in only three years.
