    During my research, I investigated more about satellite rendezvous maneuvers & orbital mechanics in Geosynchronous Orbit around the Earth using impulsive & electronic propulsion systems. Many of the issues required innovation on a variety of maneuver sequences for a servicing satellite to reveal more on on how angular momentum consideration can generate plausible routes that will minimize fuel consumption. Integration of MatLAB functions into STK to modify its capabilities to match our missions purpose was required and allowed for a broader perspective of coding in said language. Within MatLAB, a genetic algorithm was also used to increase accuracy of worthwhile rendezvous sequences throughout a mission. Worked under Dr. Jennifer Hudson to carry out her current research on the topic and presented my completed research at Michigan State University (AGEP Conference, East Lansing, MI).

    Currently working on my senior design project with this group to determine the properties of our integrated attitude determination and control system to investigate when to actuate said system during an orbital maneuver around the Earth. This project and concurrent research will be used for the satellite deployment in 2022-2024.Formerly, I analyzed and improved the feed system used on a 6U CubeSat that was used to test an EP system to determine the differences in its operation in a vacuum chamber and while orbiting the Earth. Had to become familiar with the qualifications of a properly working satellite for data collection and optical spectroscopy. Attended SmallSAT conference in Logan, Utah in the Summer of 2018 and presented our progress on the satellite's manufacturing state of deployment.
