- Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.- Proactively collaborate with external auditors by providing all required documentation and finalizing the audits in a timely manner.- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, including cost reduction strategies.- Stay up-to-date on relevant tax regulations and ensure the company is compliant with all tax filing requirements.- Perform monthly system reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all accounting systems.- Oversee the stock take process and reconcile inventory balances with physical counts.- Implement a system for fixed asset monitoring and tracking, including data entry, depreciation calculations, and maintenance scheduling.- Manage intercompany transactions between SunCulture and the group companies, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.- Implement the transfer pricing policy, applying appropriate methods to ensure arm's-length pricing for transactions with related parties.- Manage the finance team, ensuring that they are on track with their daily tasks.- Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:- Audit of small and medium sized enterprises.- Audit of financial institutions, Provident fund, on profit making organizations and community based organizations.- Verification of balance sheet items and agreeing them to the general ledgers- Verification of income statement items and vouching of expense as well as the income. - Accounting and preparation of published financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standard Standard (IFRS)- Advising clients on how to improve their accounting and internal control systems via a management letter.
