Who Am I: I am a corporate and oil and gas lawyer with over 20 years experience doing and managing deals in over 100 countries. I spent 18 years in-house working for maritime and oil and gas companies, including 12 years as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the global drilling contractor, Hercules Offshore, Inc. My last stint, before re-entering private practice was as CEO and Executive Director of CH Offshore Ltd., a Singapore-based offshore oilfield services company. As a former CEO and General Counsel, I know the value of solid but practical advice.What I do: I am a Partner in the Public Policy and Regulatory practice at Holland & Knight based in Washington, D.C. My practice consists of advising clients on government relations, public policy, energy regulatory matters, and mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and upstream oil and gas transactions. I provide advocacy and advice on energy issues, including oil and gas drilling offshore and federal lands, offshore wind projects and renewable energy generation. After spending over a decade advocating for my clients in Washington, I have developed deep relationships with the members of Congress and officials in the White House and the Department of Interior. I have testified before the House and Senate on U.S. energy policy.
