Currently a PhD researcher at The University of Sheffield on the Faraday Institution's FutureCat project. My experience is in characterising state-of-the-art and next-generation lithium ion battery (LIB) cathode active material, carbon-binder domain and anode material using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and spectroscopy.This is with the aim of understanding of electrode materials from pristine to aged conditions, and in-hand with the development of SEM chemical characterisation methods, such as secondary electron hyperspectral imaging (SEHI).My aspiration is to continue to work in field of energy storage and generation materials, which can achieve an equitable and sustainable energy transition strategy.
