As a part of Stern Brothers’ investment banking/project finance team I concentrated on securing capital for revenue and tax supported transactions through a combination of tax-exempt and taxable bond financing, as well as debt restructuring, for industrial manufacturers, commercial real estate developers, port authorities, and municipalities throughout the United States. My experience in project management, project finance, financial analysis, and asset valuation provide me with unique qualities to identify market opportunities, structure, and close bond financed transactions that deliver the highest possible value to my clients.

While at H&R Block, I generated business cases in support capital expenditure requests, lead and managed projects, working directly with IT, Payroll, Legal and Human Resources, and developed, prepared and disseminated reports, used to ensure their accuracy. I was also responsible for the analyses of current processes to ensure their effectiveness as well the identification of future tends.

As a project manager, I matrix managed projects, and created reports, which drove the ideation and development of segment specific strategies through the preparation and analysis of weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and operations data. Additionally, I supported management with special projects and ‘Ad-hoc’ analysis, based on financial and technical data. As an Access Planner, I was responsible for planning Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) in the Baltimore/Washington, Buffalo, Denver, Portland and Phoenix markets. I also created sophisticated Excel financial models and Access databases for the development of business cases in support of strategic planning, and provided analysis as well as recommendations relating to acquisition opportunities.

Constructed, organized and staffed the Memphis, TN sales organization; exceeding yearly planned sales goals by 25%. Serviced 37 accounts across five states in the ‘Mid-South’ and managed the activities of three direct reports, responsible for forty-three merchandisers.
