Providing Procurement and Supply Chain expertise to transform how a Local Health District approached its buying and supply chain challenges and ensured robust systems were in place to meet the COVID19 supply challenges.

I delivered the role of Commercial Director in Inland Revenue's Business Transformation Programme - changing the New Zealand tax system.Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, I was responsible for leading the commercial engagement of vendors across the programme and bringing a more contemporary focus to procurement and commercial management practices.The Business Transformation Programme is seen as one of the bigger NZ Government projects over recent times and through the delivery of commercial services during my time, the programme delivered its commitments against its aggressive timeline.

Service NSW was launched in 2013 by the NSW Government to make it easier for NSW residents and businesses to transact with government.As part of the SLT reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for securing SNSW's key supplier partners to create the technology capability, service centres, contact centres and corporate functions, to enable a successful launch and ongoing growth of SNSW. Integral to this was setting up and developing a leading class procurement function and recruiting and developing the procurement team to manage the ongoing and future expansion of SNSW.Service NSW has been shaped by its customers - who want easier access to government services, faster service and a single point of contact.Between July 2013 and May 2015, Service NSW has served more than 15 million customers through one digital service, phone service and an initial 24 service centres across NSW.Service NSW is also working to improve the digital experience for customers with more transactions being made available online.

NSW Procurement is a world class organisation supporting government agencies to meet business outcomes, maximise value for money and create a competitive NSW economy.My role was to lead the procurement transformation and set up NSW Procurement as a leading public sector procurement organisation, able to meet the NSW Governments commitment for a leading contemporary procurement function.NSWP now provides innovative procurement services and solutions through consultancy and advisory services, category management, analytical support, analysis and guidance, and access to procurement enabling technologies.NSW Procurement has been designed, through its structure and capabilities, to meet the demands of the NSW Government’s procurement reform agenda. Central to the reform program is the devolved procurement model.

I led and managed Microsoft's global procurement transformation across 14 countries in the APAC region and the ongoing management of the procurement function for those 14 countries with 3 teams located in Australia, Singapore and South Korea.
