Postdoctoral researcher in Department of Biological Sciences.• Part of the EU framework 6 funded Pharma-Planta consortium of 39 groups, investigating the production of vaccines against major diseases using a plant-based expression system.• Elucidating the intracellular fates of novel target molecules within plant cells using a variety of molecular biology and proteomic approaches.• Involved in project management as part of the science and technology committee.• Supervision and mentoring of PhD and undergraduate project students.• Responsible for the organisation and running of compulsory undergraduate laboratory classes. • Five publications in peer-reviewed journals.
