I am an experienced commercial lawyer with a particular interest in the wine industry and crypto-currencies. Dual qualified In England/Wales and Hong Kong, I advise grape growers and wineries and also investors and companies active in blockchain.Previously I have worked as a lawyer both in private practice (for a Russian law firm in London and an anti-counterfeiting firm in Hong Kong) and as in-house counsel (for a private equity plc). I was CEO of a 7-country financial services brokerage based in Asian, and also founded the UK government-recognised, not-for-profit, Institute of Paralegals. I have been an Associate Professor of Law in Hong Kong and an Adjunct Professor for Syracuse University. More recently, I was the lay member of the Standards Board for Westminster Council and co-created (and taught on) a professionally-orientated law course for ICE at the University of Cambridge.I am now a partner in the leading Sussex law firm Mayo Wynne Baxter LLP in Brighton, UK.
