Responsibilities: ​•​ Responsible to the fleet DMTC for the performance of training​ duties in ​the flight simulator and for completing assigned​ project work​•​ Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of TACM, FAM, ​aircraft-specific manuals and relevant​ regulatory documents.​Duties: ​•​ Training​ in the simulator,​ including type-rating​ initial, recurrent, ​recency and refamiliarisation (all ranks). This also includes training for ​the CRTR.​•​ Attend and participate in Professional Development days and Training ​meetings​•​ Write and provide recommendations to procedures for training ​programs as​ directed by the MTC/DMTC​•​ Carry out​ Flight Training office/project duties as requested by Flight ​Training Management​•​ Provide reports to MTC/DMTC each​ Bid Period highlighting training ​issues and trends identified.​•​ Assist with the development of training courses​•​ Facilitate training courses in area of expertise

The course incorporates flight training and academic studies in Aviation Human Factors, Air Transportation Management and Aviation Technology. Students graduate from this program with a broad Aviation education that will prepare them for possible future management roles within the aviation industry, in addition to flying qualifications.
