Organized operations and employed personnel to meet a demanding mission.This team conducted offshore boarding’s on Ships entering the US waters that may pose security threats to national security. Included in these duties; Criminal Investigations, ID checks, prevention of ships being turned into weapons of mass destruction. Port Arthur Texas is home to one of the largest petrol chemical areas in the US. Arrest and apprehension of wanted subjects and many other Law enforcement duties. • Law Enforcement and Security Management. Conducted interviews often in less than ideal settings and with dangerous subjects 20 miles offshore with limited resources. Was Chief Intelligence officer and liaison for my department. This was a job that usually had a US Coast Guard member of significant higher rank than mine at the time. Organized work schedule to ensure all missions were met and completed. I received a Coast Guard Achievement medal for outstanding work for 4 years as a member of this elite Law Enforcement team.
