Played an integral role on the Tooth Taxi team to provide nearly $2,000,000 of free dental care to Oregon’s underserved children. Designed and implemented a successful oral hygiene program for grades pre-K through 12, educating nearly 4,000 students across Oregon in the importance of a healthy smile.Collaborated with Oregon State dental professionals to prevent and treat dental disease among the target population. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: transport of Tooth Taxi, patient charting & scheduling, oral hygiene presentations, operatory set-up/breakdown, sterilization, supply inventory & ordering, Tooth Taxi maintenance, chair-side assisting, patient management, coordination of volunteers, administrative duties and media/public relations.
