I first started working at Renault F1 Team on the running show car. This opportunity was a good way to get me up to speed in F1 again and understand the procedures in which the team operates. While on my time on the running show car, I was called up to go racing as a cover on the race team around race 12 of the 2011 season. This cover position then led to full time race team. Since my time on the race team I have covered roles of a floating mechanic / rear end Mechanic and now i'm a full time front end mechanic.As of 2018 I also remain in the same role as a front end mechanic but I also run the car as a No1 for tests and when required till the position becomes available full time! As a No1 you are in charge of everyone and everything on the car and making sure the car is upto spec and correct!

I worked for Brazell Engineering working on classic race cars similar to those that I worked on a Pearsons Engineering (Stated below) I have a great deal of responsibility in this job role as I was in charge of the workshop and the staff the company employed. I have built up a good report with the clients and fully confident in all areas of work I carry out.

At Force India I was employed as a front end mechanic on the test team, but also worked on all areas of the car. My role included duties such as laminating and trimming in the carbon department, making pit equipment, the main run up of the car, electronics on the car, helping design and improve the car and also co-ordinating with the drivers.As of the test banning in early 2009 I was made redundant.

I worked at Hi Tech running a Formula Renault in the Formula Renault European series. There were 4 mechanics and 4 cars which meant we had our own car to build, prepare and run.

I was a race technician for just over a year. There I worked on selection of cars such as Ferrari 360, Ferrari 355, Lotus Exiges, Porsche 993, Caterhams, Rally Cars and various single seaters.As a private project alongside my full time work I was head hunted by Eugene OBrian (ex touring car driver) to run a car in the Fun Cup series in which we won the championship.

Here is a brief description of the responsibilities I had while working at Pearson Engineering.Engine room and Dyno RoomDismantling and inspecting engines on and off the Dyno. Running engines on the Dyno and also crack detecting parts.WorkshopPreparation of cars to a high and safe standard. Restoration, machining, milling and turning components. Assembling and dismantling of the cars. Spraying and sandblasting.Numerous race meetings were held though out the year, as of this I would travel around the world.The type of cars that I have worked on were, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari Lm, Ferrari 275GTB Type 4, Ferrari Dino, Ferrari 250 SWB, Jaguar C , D and E Type , Lola T70 and numerous Group C Cars such as Ecurie Ecosse, Le Man winning XJR - 12’s and many more.
