Diagnosed the architecture problems in an aging database and website containing water qualitydata in Southeast Michigan. Designed a new database and performed query optimization basedon anticipated user needs. Built an accompanying user-interface web application to allow academic researchers, government agencies, private industries, and non-profits easy access to water quality data relevant to the drinking water of 3 million people.Maintaining the web application and database while adding client-side functionality. Perform nutrient analyses using an auto-analyzer for freshwater samples from Southeast Michigan.

Taught two evening sections of Environmental Science 1050 (4 credits each). Responsible for designing lectures, discussions, tests, and assignments within the curriculum goals.

Compiled data and performed statistical analyses for salary surveys in health care, manufacturing and other fields.

Collected data on Great Lakes Areas of Concern (AOCs), fish stocking, recreation, combined sewer overflows in the Huron-Erie corridor. Data collection is part of an effort to make cumulative maps of stressors and ecosystem services in the Great Lakes.
