About James Orvis
I became a plumber's apprentice at 16 yrs old and worked with my father on summer projects in between school breaks. Got my C of Q in 1992 and my Masters license in 1994. Since then I have moved around to a lot of companies to collect experience in several of the types of plumbing, Service, New home construction, High rise construction, low rise construction, and I.C.I (industrial,commercial, Institutional) construction. In 2003 I decided to go back to College to upgrade my education in the construction industry, in hopes to become a Plumbing/building Inspector. After a long fruitless endeavor to become an Inspector I had an opportunity to join the Plumbers and Steam fitters Union (Local 46) and have been with that organization ever since.
