I was promoted through the ranks during my extensive career at Oracle; culminating in the current role as Head of Architecture & Industry Strategy for a large region covering UK, and Southern Europe. My principal focus of this role includes building and leading a team of Cloud Enterprise Architects (CEA) in the UK, in France, Italy and Spain plus Industry experts, covering Retail, Telco, Finance, Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Utilities, whilst also supporting a handful of accounts personally. Notable Accomplishments:• Successfully spearheaded the teams across UK, France, Italy and Iberia to deliver multimillion sales revenue over the last 12 months• Boosted cost savings and improved business processes with the implementation of an offshore team to support the UK Field Enterprise Architects, subsequently rolled out to other regions. • Significantly increased the number of sales opportunities and deal size with less resources and a reduction in sales cycle with the adoption of improved architecture processes.

The focus of this role is similar to the above role but with different regional coverage and team size, it entailed building and managing a team of CEA’s in the UK with additional teams in Dubai, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.Notable Accomplishments: • Successfully led the UK and MEA Architecture teams responsible for supporting multimillion sales revenue. Solutions included ERP, Payroll, HCM, Big Data, CX, Cloud at Customer, Hyperion and numerious PaaS and IaaS services

In this role I built and led a team of several CEA’s in the UK and Ireland, whilst supporting a handful of accounts personally. Notable Accomplishments: • Spearheaded the UK team that went on to support multimillion deals with Vocalink, Tesco, Royalmail, Princes Trust, Mellanox, Israel Discount Bank, DunnHunby, Premier Farnell, House of Fraser, RBS, Reed Elsevier, Vodafone, Deutsche Bank; selling Exadata, Integration, ERP and Analytics

I was initially recruited to contribute and drive the largest Exa deals in EMEA as required by the Exa Solutions team and under the leadership of the Senior Director of the unitNotable Accomplishments: • Successfully provided architecutal support to Tesco, BT and BP accounts, resulting in the significant sales.

I was promoted through the ranks to the final role of CTO – Information Systems, with the principal focus of owning all architectural decisions relating to the House of Fraser’s IT effort. I led a team of 20 across System Architecture and Data Management, responsible for enhancing and supporting the existing management information systems and providing guidance on development tools and methodologies to maximise Developer output and quantity. Notable Accomplishments: • Led the early adoption of cloud technologies on the web commerce platform, enabling tracking of users/customers search habits and preferences, presenting them with high value items or excess stock items at the top of the search; allowing for HOF to scale during peak trading days, increase revenue margins and reduce excess stock
