Manages the SIPRNet-Installation Campus Area Network (SIPR-ICAN) project under the NETMOD Pacific program.

Manages a team of 12 systems administrators that have the responsibility of maintaining a complex services infrastructure for the EUCOM theater to support over 8000 users worldwide. Develops and manages engineering and implementation efforts throughout the EUCOM Area of Responsibility for the program.• Accountable for delivering performance updates, and reports to Senior Leadership that is submitted as contract service deliverables such as uptime statistics, security compliance, and problem resolution metrics. • Sustained an overall 99% system uptime over the past year by effectively managing 12 people.• Provides Tier-3 support to the enterprise in areas such as Active Directory, Exchange, and Enterprise Services Migration.• Develops and implements strategies to improve the IA posture of the enterprise by employing a rapid patching methodology in conjunction with controlled group policy testing and deployment. Continuously modifies policies and procedures in accordance with ever changing DISA guidelines and recommendations.• Coordinates efforts across multiple work centers such as systems, networks, IA and logistics to complete contract deliverable items like enterprise Capital Equipment Replacement Program (CERP), tech refreshes, new site installations and software upgrades.

Responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing systems solutions for the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Command, Control, Communications, Computer Information (C4I) Systems Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program that delivered the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS-K), and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) networks throughout South Korea. • Supported the organization as the Tier-3 service system engineer on a wide range of software and hardware products to include Dell servers and Storage Area Networks (SAN), EMC SANs, Cisco servers, and Unified Capability (UC) solutions, MS Operating Systems, SCCM, Exchange, SharePoint, DNS, SQL, and VMWare environments.• Managed and coordinated the efforts of several work centers during major project initiatives to include the Joint Information Environment (JIE) effort, SIPRNET consolidation, and Enterprise Email (EE) transition. • Engineered and installed a highly available, fault-tolerant Cisco Unified Communications (UC) suite of applications to include Communications Manager 10.5, IM & Presence 10.5, WebEx Meetings Server 2.5, and Expressway 8.7. This solution replaced a legacy Cisco Call Manager 4.x, Cisco Jabber XCP 5.8, and Adobe Connect 7.x architecture and gave our users the ability to collaborate from a single client application across multiple UC solutions (Voice, Video, and Chat).

Responsible for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for the USFK C4I enterprise infrastructure that delivered the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS-K) and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) networks throughout South Korea. • Performed daily administration of the enterprise with a specific emphasis on Group Policy (GPO) management, permission models, administrative access, COOP design, and implementation, software deployments, SAN administration, DNS, SQL, and systems health monitoring and reporting. • Wrote Visual Basic (VB) and PowerShell scripts to automate systems related functions to include Active Directory (AD) queries, DHCP scope creation, software deployments, and object migrations. • Planned and executed a service migration that included over 10,000 user accounts, 5,000 workstations, 300 servers, and multiple applications to include MS Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, file services, web services, SQL servers, and a suite of collaboration servers. The migration consolidated two enclaves into one service domain, increased system reliability by virtualizing existing physical infrastructure, and improved security by reducing the number of managed servers and consolidating security policies.• Installed, managed, and maintained the systems infrastructure following DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements. Performed scanning and baseline analysis of the network to ensure compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Developed Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), implemented AD policies, registry updates, and software deployments to secure all information systems.• Achieved 100% DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance on three separate networks.
