I learned alot during my employment at ASI.The importance of an surveillance investigator being well rested prior to a day's assignment You never know what's going to happen out there in the field.Writing reports "on the fly" while conducting surveillance efforts is a bad idea. Situations can change suddenly and without warning.A line of direct communication between the investigator and the adjuster is far more effective then having a "go between" in the form of a case manager. Unfortunately my employer did not share my opinions so I ultimately left the company. However, all things considered, I am glad I worked for ASI. It was a sink or swim opportunity.During my employment with them I learned (out of necessity), more details specific to surveillance and suspected insurance fraud then a decade of ad hoc surveillance assignments would of taught me.
