I am the customer services officer for Clinical Prevention and Rehabilitation at 110 Harley Street. My main focus is managing relationships to ensure the best possible outcome. In this role I directly combine clinical expertise with a high level of customer service. I may receive a referral from any private or public doctor, cardiologist, oncologist, GP, surgeon, dietician and meet them as the first point of contact for CP+R. I will then try to understand the patient's clinical needs and explain the benefits of our bespoke tailored programme to them. If successful, the patient will then enrol in a programme with us. Along their CP+R journey I will ensure they are always happy. In the unlikely event that a patient flies solo, I will also conduct an exit interview with that person to finish the journey and gain invaluable feedback.Day to day I look after over 200 + athletes managing their every need. It is really rewarding to be part of a company who really offer transformative healthcare. I love meeting a variety of different people, with a variety of different clinical backgrounds. The end goal is always to improve ones quality and duration of life. Helping people is my passion and finding solutions for all. Previous to this role I developed my product knowledge leading the team at our Monument clinic as a clinical exercise specialist.

Working within a specialist exercise clinic, I work one-to-one with a wide range of cardiac and cancer patients, referred by private healthcare doctors from The Harley Street Clinic and London Bridge Hospital. I present data to the doctors and feed back to them regularly on the client’s progress with their exercise programme, nutrition and clinical markers.I prescribe and deliver individualised exercise and nutrition programmes specific to the patient's and doctor’s goals, their medical history, current clinical condition and medications. This involves the prescription and delivery of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercise sessions and nutritional plans.I educate the patient using clear and concise explanations of scientific principles (physiology, biomechanics and nutrition) to empower them to be able to adopt a healthier lifestyle (follow appropriate exercise and nutrition).Analysis of the patient's current nutritional habits, discussing their strengths and weaknesses and advising how to improve their diet. I discuss sports nutrition with, and prescribe training plans for, patients training towards an event e.g. a marathon.I perform exercise tests and health assessments (body impedance analysis, blood glucose and cholesterol, blood pressure, body circumferences, Bruce Test and postural assessment).

I previously worked as a Research Assistant at Brunel University for a study examing the efficacy of music on mixed-gender O2 Touch Rugby sessions. My responsibilitiers included preparing measures for data collection, organisising the group of researchers at each session to ensure an efficient data collection process was carried out, without disrupting the O2 Touch sessions and entering and analysing the data. These responsibilities required effective communication and organisational skills, in addition to a high level of proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite (namely Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and statistical software (IBM SPSS).

My experiences have involved working as a Brand Ambassador for Virgin Media. My responsibilities include engaging with passers by to promote the benefits of Virgin Media subscription and the organisation of other ambassadors present at each venue.

My responsibilities included the organisation and running of a successful sports day for over 800 students, this required excellent communication and teamwork skills, while attending to the fine details of the organisation and management of a large scale event.
