Primary duties include maintaining the accuracy, consistency and quality of all patient data.Analysis and remediation of patient data issues including exam results overlay issues, missing exam results, duplicate patient folios, remediation of incorrect folio merges, and patient mis-identification problems. Remediations include reconciling corrected results to Alberta Netcare and eHealth Saskatchewan.Interpretation of the DICOM header and the appropriate use of a DICOM editor (SanteSoft Editor) when necessary to fix issues such as incorrect mammography hanging codes, or anonymization of exam images for accreditation submission or teaching file purposesNetwork setup of modalities as it pertains to basic network setup as well as DICOM configuration on the Agfa Impax Administration Tools module. Also worked with modality service techs to set up imaging modalities on the system. Troubleshooting connectivity problems in cooperation with other colleagues and modality vendor service technicians.Worked with technologists to successfully complete mammography accreditation submissions to the Canadian Association of Radiologists as well as diagnostic imaging facility accreditation report completion and remediation to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.Currently maintain memberships in ACMDTT, CAMRT and SIIM

Performed diagnostic x-ray exams through the positioning of patients, appropriate shielding and application of technical factors, cleaning and maintenance of film processors, QC activities including CAR submissions for mammography accreditation, mammography and general radiology machine routine testing, write the policy/procedure manual, other daily duties as required.
