James has been working in the Technical industry for 20 years. This began with 9 years working in the Intelligent Transport industry before transferring his skills into the Physical Security industry for the last 9 years.During this time, James has fulfilled a number of roles within the companies that he has worked for, from Technical Engineer to Lead Technical Consultant, Project Manager, Commercial Manager and Bid Manager.For his most recent company, as Protea Consultants is a small firm, James has taken on more responsibility with the associated requirements, such as Business Development and Business Strategy.James considers one of his key strengths is his ability to take complex ideas and technologies, and communicate them on a much simpler level. This has enabled him to bridge the gap between technical teams and technical delivery, and client communication and project management.James is very skilled at picking up new concepts very quickly. This is borne out by the range of roles he has fulfilled, and the large number of different systems and technologies he has worked with, and in many cases has had to make work together.
