Originally from Chicago, I always had an interest in the structure of our planet and the history of our world. I grew up listening to stories of my great grandfather working on the Eisenhower and through his curiosity, hard work, and a little bit of luck, he discovered a limestone quarry in Pontiac, Illinois. This intrigued me and led me to my interest and study in geology, engineering, and history. I graduated from Western Illinois where I majored in Geology and minored in History. While in school, I held multiple jobs in service and civil engineering where I was able to leverage my field of study and interpersonal skills. From my professional experience thus far, I find that my strengths include relationship building, effective communication, and leading by example. I hope to continue to master these skills while obtaining new ones from experienced professionals.
