This includes assignment of duties ensuring that the collective agreement is adhered to and scheduling of workload and overtime based on seniority and employee skills.- Plan detailed manufacture process and assembly sequences of production work in compliance with drawing configuration, military specification and commercial specification.- Assist Production Team Lead to ensure component repair and manufacture is completed safely, to acceptable standards, within production budget and schedule.- Assist Management in identifying training opportunities and procedure changes to improve safety, efficiency and productivity. - Ensure maintenance, calibration and replacement of tools and test equipment.- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for multiple contracts. - Attend weekly progress meetings.- Responsible for estimating labour and material repair quotes. - Research and review of Military technical data, drawings, schematics for accuracy and completeness. - Research and review of Commercial technical data, drawings and schematics for accuracy and completeness. - Assist Production, Purchasing and Sub-Contractors with technical data interpretation and liaise with Engineering and Management to resolve problems. - Assist Management with the development of proposals for the purpose of bidding on potential contracts.- Assist Management with marketing of skills and capabilities of company to potential customers.

- Repair, modification, testing, calibration and component level trouble shooting of electrical, electronic, electromechanical and sonar equipment for Canadian Armed Forces; Manufacturing and testing of electrical flight control and prototypes for Canadian Armed Forces and United Technology Corp.- Assist engineering and planning with the manufacture of electronic test sets.- Assist with the enforcing of safety procedures, practices, protocols and training of manufacturing procedures for new employees as needed.
