I joined the RCMP E-Division (BC) Underwater Recovery Team in October of 2019 following my successful completion of the five week training program at the National Underwater Recovery Training Centre (NURTC).

Working for Magnum trailers, I was able to cultivate a broader knowledge base as an employee. I learned how materials and physical assets moved through the company, how to balance the demands of skilled labourers, and how to utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to leverage my performance. In addition, I learned the importance of teamwork and team building within my small department of 4 teammates. Finally, I received my forklift certification and proactively obtain and funded my occupational first aid level 2 (OFA-II). I developed as a first aider, and was requested to join the joint health and safety committee by my manager. My time with Magnum provided me long term life skills as a worker, and I am deeply grateful for their investment in my career.
