Project Manager for a cost plus fixed fee task order through the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) at the McGuire portion of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, (JB MDL), NJ. Project included 21 National Priority List (NPL) CERCLA sites with EPA Region II as the lead regulatory agency and 3 CERCLA non-NPL sites with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) as the lead regulatory agency. Sites included large industrial/maintenance areas, spill sites, bulk fuel storage area, hazardous waste storage areas, landfill and waste disposal areas, and former USTs. Successfully managed all aspects of the $13.4M project including acting technical and regulatory leads and maintained excellent working relationships with the client, base Environmental Restoration Program (ERP) Program Manager and multiple project managers, and EPA and State regulators under a regulatory environment that was highly scrutinized and sometimes adversarial. Project specific highlights and accomplishments included: • Obtaining regulatory acceptance of Remedial Investigation (RI) Reports at all NPL and State lead sites• Obtaining final Feasibility Study (FS) Reports at 5 sites and draft FS Reports at the remaining sites before the contact ended• Obtaining EPA concurrence of the human health and screening level ecological risk assessments at the NPL sites• Completing 6 removal actions that included landfill consolidation and capping and multiple soil excavations for contaminated and hazardous wastes• Completing a pilot test for an in-situ zero valent iron permeable reactive barrier via injection for TCE contaminated groundwater• Managing the daily operation of project personnel and site activities, financial reporting, forecasting, scheduling, billing, procurement, subcontracts, and monthly project status reports to the client• Preparing and/or reviewing all project deliverables• Working directly with ERP PgM and AFCEC legal to develop JB MDL's regularly framework

Acquired by CB&I Federal Services LLC, a division of the Chicago Bridge & Iron in February 2013. Managed and/or project engineer for multiple task orders at the Fort Dix portion of JB MDL, Camp Kilmer in Edison, and Fort Monmouth Evans Area in Wall Township, NJ. Was the technical lead and regulatory specialist for these sites. Accomplishments included the design and construction of multiple soil caps, sediment remediation of PCBs, chemical oxidation or bioaugmentation injections for aromatic and chlorinated compound, multiple soil source removals, completing multiple site investigations (SI) or RIs, and successfully preparing and obtaining approvals of all project deliverables including the closure of 9 sites.

Acquired by the Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, a division of the Shaw Group in May 2002. Project engineer for multiple task orders at the Fort Dix portion of JB MDL and Camp Kilmer in Edison, NJ. Was the technical lead and regulatory specialist for these sites. Accomplishments included the construction oversight for the removal and closure of more than 140 underground storage tank (UST), upgrading UST leak detection systems, installation of aboveground storage tank (AST), completing multiple site investigations at the UST sites, and completing remedial investigations at 2 landfills. Successfully completed the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Control Manager Training required for all construction activities.
