Global Deputy General Manager for Lancome, the World’s #1 premium beauty brand and the largest business unit in L’Oreal’s Luxury Division. Working with the Global General Manager to define the brand’s future business plan, strategy & product development, and direct responsibility for all things business & retail including i) Retail Design & Merchandising, ii) Animation, iii) Beauty Tech & iv) Retail Education.

Delivered a complete turnaround of the Lancôme brand in the UK & Ireland, growing market share for the first time in 14 years in 2017, and then again in 2018. Led & motivated a team of over 1,200 people (head office & field based) so that they once again believed in the strength of the Lancôme brand and united behind a common vision. At the same time increased profitability by >50% in the first year, and by >300% over four years. And designed & oversaw several organisational changes in order to prepare the business for the future: for example "Organisation for Growth", a comprehensive overhaul of the retail sales structure & “Marketing 3.0”.

P&L responsibility for the Kiehl's, shu uemura & Clarisonic brands. Developed & implemented a new model for Kiehl's distribution expansion. Grew Kiehl's online business by more than 100% over two years to make it L'Oréal's biggest e-commerce business in the UK & Ireland. Oversaw the integration of the Clarisonic business into L'Oréal.

First commercial role, responsible for defining the distribution & roll-out strategy for the Giorgio Armani Beauty brands, as well as delivering monthly retail & net sales targets.

Business and brand development in these strategic markets, working with the local marketing teams to develop short and long term business plans, new products to meet specific market needs and advertising creative. Responsible for sharing "best practice" from the different L'Oréal subsidiaries around the World.

Experienced all elements of the operational marketing mix including strategy, launch and promotion planning, advertising and media planning, PR, special events management and forecasting. Successfully launched the "Elvive" brand, re-orientating the brand strategy away from declining Pharmacies towards fast-growing Grocery accounts.
