It’s my job to help you protect your inventions.I am a chartered UK and European patent attorney, and I work with innovative companies of all sizes to identify and protect their inventions in a wide variety of high-tech industries throughout physics and engineering. Some fun examples include: solid-state lasers, satellite sensors, unmanned aerial vehicles, 3D-printed prosthetics, laser-fabricated optical fibres, automotive technology, robotic warehousing, and sports equipment.I particularly enjoy working directly with inventors and entrepreneurs to understand the core concepts at the heart of their innovations, as well as the commercial realities guiding their wider strategies, so we can build resilient, growth-oriented IP portfolios.Before I was a patent attorney, I did a PhD in theoretical physics at Bristol University, researching laser propagation and catastrophe theory.
