James Ripple is a senior at St. Mary’s College of Maryland expecting to graduate in May of 2024. He is studying math and applied physics with minors in astrophysics and computer science. He has worked many different teaching assistant jobs on campus honing his teamwork and leadership skills. He has worked with SMCM Physics Department studying the effects on a space-time due to the inclusion of charge and a cosmological constant in the Einstein field equations. His work incorporated Python and Mathematica code with analytical analysis of differential equations. For the summer he is working with NAWCAD as a quantum computation algorithms and development intern. James is excited about after graduation and is applying to grad school or ready to join the workforce.
