120 day developmental detail (10/09/2011 – 02/04/2012). Provided administrative and technical oversight of six Office Chiefs (GS-13 & GS-12) providing services and operational capabilities to the district (Public Affairs, Health & Safety, Security, Small Disadvantaged Business, Equal Opportunity Employment, and Internal Review/Audit). Coordinated with National Organizations providing services to the District (Contracting, ULA, CPAC, ACE-IT). Conducted internal personnel administration and management tasks including scheduling, assigning work, and defining details of work procedures. With key subordinate staff members, determined and validated resource requirements and associated costs and worked appropriate process and protocols to meet mission requirements. With the Executive Assistant, oversaw the operations of the Office of the District Engineer. Performed normal daily operations in emergency or crisis situations including building evacuations, pending absence of appropriations and injuries at USACE projects. With executive team, provided support for and tracking of General Officer and VIP movement schedules during their visits to projects within the District.
