I was brought up on a farm and ranch operation in Northwest Kansas and learned from an early age that anything worth doing is worth doing right, and doing it right the first time. The multiple values I learned on the farm run deep in me and are the largest factor in my work ethic and dedication to the task at hand. After graduating from Fort Hays State University with my Agri-Business degree, I spend almost six years selling John Deere equipment. In this role, I specialized in customer relations and retention, problem-solving, and networking resulting in an increase in new clients and sales while holding higher than projected margins. In late 2019 I transitioned to the NWKS District Representative for U.S. Senator Jerry Moran. In this position, I spent my days helping Kansans and making a difference in the state I love.; while representing a man that truly believes in the Constitution of the United States of America and the freedoms it provides. This career allowed me to give back to the state that has given me so much throughout my life. My current role as Director of Business Development and Special Projects for Grow Hays will truly allow me to leave my home a better place than what I found it. Grow Hays is the Economic Development company for Ellis County KS, and they have charged me with the task of overseeing special one-off projects in the area and helping take a business to the next level. In 2020 my wife and I were blessed with our first child, and again in 2023. I believe that I'm starting to understand what it means to grow up too fast. I am actively involved in the the Hays Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador, and am a Kansas Hunter Education Instructor. My family and I attend Mass on the weekends, and I enjoy small woodworking projects, and hitting the links in my free time. One of my life goals is to have a small farm of my own someday to pass along my knowledge and heritage to my children.“Ad Astra, Simul"
