I am a part of a strong Maintenance Team at Murco Petroleum and my role is a Rotating Equipment Technician and Machinist, I work with a large variety of pumps, motors, fin fans, turbines, compressors etc in the maintenance and overhaul of them. My skills in machining include the manufacture of pump shafts, pump covers, machining of pump casings using lathes and milling machines. I take a methodical approach to my work and I thrive on solving issues and expanding my knowledge. I am a very driven individual and enjoy pushing myself, I am always keen to learn new skills and try new things. I see any new opportunity as a chance to better myself as I believe that there is always room for improvement especially self-improvement. As part of my college studies I have obtained a National Certificate in operations and maintenance and a QCF level 3 diploma in maintaining engineering construction plant and systems.
